It was scorching outside, so my partner and I retreated in here to refuel ourselves with a cold drink. The first thing you'll notice is that the walls are covered with... stuff. Silly signs, clocks and cute things which I assume can all be bought.
The place felt a bit tight, and we were the only ones (besides the staff) who were inside. The staff were very friendly and were glad to have us, even if we ordered just drinks.
One spider (cola and vanilla ice cream) and a chocolate thick shake, and when they say thick shake they mean it. It was glorious, like cold chocolate concrete.
The open kitchen had an amazing aroma to it, the smell of beef and bacon and toast. It made us wish we weren't full from an earlier meal. Once your done eating/drinking you can look around for some fun to buy. I have a feeling that this place would be great for children. -

Spritzer fans outside on a warm afternoon were nice.
Group of three.
Ordered BLT on GF bread (fructose free too) for medical reasons. BLT was okay - it was fine, nice enough. Salad unfortunately had Spanish onion and beetroot.
Friend ordered corn beef wrap with (as a salad) with beetroot relish. Beetroot relish was nice. Corn beef was not to her taste as a little fatty.
My other friend ordered scones and thought they were really nice.
Environment was nice. Service friendly, although slow.
All over, an okay dining experience. -

How can you not love this place when there is a cow standing next to a pig out the front or back door? Not sure if you're allowed to ride them, but they are beautiful little statues. Inside the tables are very oldschool and rustic, but everyone always sits outside because after all, it is the Hunter Valley... and the scenery is just breathtaking.
Never leave this place without trying the Drover Burger, a burger they are famous for. With a huge patty and special Mayo... sure it drips, but it's delicious. They have Beetroot Chutney and other yummy ingredients all tasting fresh and the wait is not too long when busy either.
They lovely ladies at the counter are so friendly, and it is super kid friendly with colouring pencils and paper for the kids to keep busy.
Always a fan, and I will return here... for about $16 the burgers are totally worth it. (There are no fries/chips on the menu though... I guess that's a good thing)
